Mine's a 2009 as well...in order = tinted windows, new tires, JLT CAI, FR500S axle-back exhaust, Gen5 tail lights & Brenspeed tune(s). Nothing too drastic...trying to keep 'er close to stock.

Former Bullitt owner here- loved that damn car.

This is a must- FR500S axle-back exhaust. Get yourself a canned tune from a good shop- Steeda, Brenspeed, Lund, AED- & it's a good starting point.

You can also slap some wider meat of those wheels, throw on some Steeda sport springs and adjustable panhard bar and you're well on your way.

Its got the eibach suspension kit and adjustable panhard. Its dropped 1.5”. It also has a higher end clutch thats difficult for me to get used to. It is either engaged or disengaged. It seems like there is no middle ground for it. It also has muffler deletes flowmaster axle back and a short throw shift kit.

I liked the height of the Bullitt springs. They were 1/2"-3/4" lower than stock GT springs and worked well at the track. After a couple years when they settled it was really pretty low, going lower would only hurt performance. They were low enough to need cribbing to get on the alignment rack at a local shop.

When I increased power I eventually went to a couple different clutches. Didn't like the Exedy Mach 500 but really liked the McLeod twin disc. Pricey but worth every penny, pedal was as easy as a Honda Accord but it grabbed hard enough for a 1.59 sixty foot time.

Im thinking of taking it back to a stock clutch for a little bit. At least till I have the funds for forged internals and a supercharger lol. Thanks for the info on the McLeod. I may look into that. Its definently wierd though.

If the clutch peddle feels like it is either engaged or not, look up the "clutch assist spring" delete. Ford saw fit to have a spring "help" you achieve blissfully numb clutch feel. I never liked the clutch feel on my '05 and only after selling it did I find out about this spring. I liked everything about the car aside from the clutch action and the throttle action. Thanks for the drive by wire nanny system Ford. That should have been owner adjustable. I know how to control the throttle. I didn't need Fords supposed advanced ECU deciding how much to open the throttle for me based on my peddle command. God damned joke. But I digress....

Nice car by the way. Always liked the Bullet cars.

Great looking car! I no longer have a Bullitt, but a stash of mostly NOS OEM Bullitt parts I collected along the way. Grill, two sets of interior dash kits, steering wheel, shocks/struts/springs still in Ford boxes, exhaust, front bumper cover, etc. I've been thinking of getting back into one that needs some "TLC" using the parts. Have fun!

Thanks guys. I appreciate the help with the clutch. I will definitely have to look into the spring delete. Does anyone know if the clutch pedal travel is adjustable?
