Since these tires have been out for a few months now, I'm looking for people who are actually running these at the track. Impressions? Before and after 60 ft times would be great. I've heard and read alot of hype about these tires early on, but I haven't seen too many people post up real world results.

I have a set on my Mach 1, but I am teh suk at the track so can't say they are any better than any other tires I have had, other than street tires.

I was actually wondering about this same thing earlier today and google'd the subject.

Yeah, that article has been out awhile, I was hoping for some recent firsthand info from any members here that may have run them. I generally take magazine article reviews with a grain of salt.

Yea, you know nitto didnt send them some brand new 315's for nothin.

Real people feedback is best. I need some new DR's too, and was thinking about the NT05R, but I cant see anything out performing the MT et street radial.

Ive been wrong before tho.

Well I have very consistent 1.8 60s with my 315/18s. By then I bent a set of relocation brackets and didn't get any more runs in. I just went to a local track here in tx that was a complete grease pit and could only manage a 2.0 60 but I also believe I let o much tire pressure out. I'll be going back to a good track again sometime next week to see if I can't do any better.

Not to change the subject but I was looking into NT05R as well..

I had a 2008 paxton 2200 and now 2011 5.0

I had the Toyo TQ 315/35/18 but a bit wide for the 2011 5.0 (stock) the Mickey Thompson tires I just picked up 265/40/18 and 295/45/17 .. you can flex them, bend them.. way easier than the Toyo TQ which is made in the same plant as Nitto..

Just my thoughts

I like my 275/50/17 M&H Racemasters. I just cut a 1.65 60' on Friday with them now that i have some power behind them.

I have them as 315/35R20's and I can't break them loose on the street from a dead stop with auto trans.

If I load it up they spin for about a foot and hook. If I do a brakestand they spin about 10 feet.

Haven't been to the track, but these hook like crazy.

They don't squeel when you spin them either, dead quiet.

Nice...I know Bruce H put these on, it'll be interesting to see what he runs once he gets his true trac and gears in. I'm thinking of getting my 18x10 bullits widened 1" to the inside and running the 315/40/18 on them. I could squeeze them on a 10" rim but I don't like the look of the sidewalls bulging out past the fender lip. That or run the M&H 325/40R18 on a widened rim. I like the idea of having a fun daily driver that I can just drive to the track and rip off some ok times and then drive home. I tried the Nitto 555r's last year and HATED them. Good for the street but absolutely sucked at the track.
