Im going to run my bolt-on 2011 5.0 at the NMRA race at MIR just trying to decide what class to run. Was thinking either Modular Muscle or Coyote Stock. My question, is Coyote Stock for just cars with the frpp coyote crate motor installed or can any car with the Coyote 5.0 run in it, even the 11-up 5.0's?

You have to buy a sealed motor to compete in Coyote Stock, and no tuning permitted.
You can run Mod Muscle or Super Stang and have a lot of fun in either one .

Thanks, thats what i thought. I think i will run Modular Muscle since i run ET drags now. In Super Stang you have to run dragradials, right?

DOT tire only which would include drag radials and bias ET streets (I think). no slicks though.

There was talk about some sort of program where a person like you who bought a car with a Coyote already in it could get the engine certified and sealed. I'd look into that if you want to run the class later on.

Personally, I'd run True Street if I were you. It's a lot of fun and you get a bunch of passes.
