Yes, lots of progress but i need to get off my lazy A$$ and atleast get a cheap cam to throw some pics. Instead of listing everything Ive done the past few months, ill just say that I attempted to crank it last weekend but no sucsess. For some reason Im not getting power to my starter silonoid and it wont turn over. Ive jumped the starter and it does of course but wont with the key?? Grounds are good so i got some electrical trouble shooting to do for now lol.
Ill get an el cheapo cam this weekend and get some pics up i promise.

O yeah, swaping the floor board was a major PITA but well worth the trouble in the end because everything lined up perfectly ( seat, pedals, console, heater/AC box, dash, ect, ect)

Another member just had this exact problem, it ended up being the "starter enable switch". Here you go....

OP What beer do you enjoy? We should start a fund to buy you a keg so you can get this project finished! Hell, fly me out there and i'll work for free for a week ahah but then you'll have no beer and a car that still doesnt work after a week. LOL

This is a fantastic project, cant wait to see the end.

Camera's are very cheap these days. You can get them for $30 at walmart

2 hands are better than one right? then we can hold our beers and still have a pair of "working hands" to fuck the job up. haha

Im so anxious to see this finished project. its such a great idea. The floorboard swap really made this a night or day project. I think thats so class that you went the long and righteous route on this project.

Yeah, that was the first thing i started checking after it wouldnt crank. I jump the NSS, anf the cruise cut off switch and no luck with me. The statewr relay had 12v key-on power and also 12 start pos so its clearly a groung fault somewhere! Where?, I dont know yet lol. so for giggles, We jumped a ground wire to the neg (on starter relay prong) and it fired off. Problem is there is no wire that goes under the realy where i jumped the neg to so im puzzled to whats going on but it doesnt seem to interfere with anything else the way it is so i may leave well enough alone???

i understand budgets and so worth but seems like that drivetrain would have been more worthy of a real cherry low mileage 4cyl donor.
