Is there any saving this seat? Original 2005 seat, w/airbags.

I have been using a meguiars leather wipe since I got the car. The car does sit outside 100% of the time, but I do intend on buying a decent car cover in the near future.

Get a decent leather cleaner and conditioner...

As far as the seats go, we got crappy leather. You can have them reupholstered if you've got the scratch....How's the paint look if you keep it outside all the time?

what is considered "decent"?

This is my first car with leather.

Paint is "ok". It's silver so it's pretty difficult to screw it up. It's only been out for this last summer. Got stuck with a company truck so the stang just sits now. I hate it. lol.

Also if your car's sitting outside all the time and not covered or shaded, invest in a sun screen for the windshield.
Sun will damage plastics and leathers over time.

Here's the problem... Our leather seats aren't entirely leather, they are vinyl. The top sections (the insert and parts of the collar) are leather the rest is vinyl

Leather cleaners/conditioners should still work well with vinyl.
Now if it doesn't do as good a job as he's looking for then I'd get something vinyl specific, but vinyl cleaner on leather is not good for the leather. So if you use a vinyl specific product I'd avoid using it on any leather portion.
