the wife and i made a decision today. we're going to sell our 81 bronco and 86 5.0 LX and get her a new base model V6 coupe for her DD. she's been driving her expedition, but we are buying a house that's further away and as it is she's spending a tank a week. at 75 bucks a tank it's pretty expensive. we're lucky to see 15mpg from it in town or on the highway. from what i hear the new V6 is getting around 23+ mpg in town and over 30 on the highway. so look forward to seeing a nice new, but boringly basic mustang in our new house.

Good choice Bob. From what I've read, they are pretty peppy and get very good gas mileage.

Got the 2012 Black leathers from Shelby garage for $149, but you'll need headrest leathers.. Shelby doesn't send them with their NTO stuff. You'll need to upgrade the steering wheel too... the base wheel looks & feels like shit.

you don't want to see it. it's quite sad actually. has an aero nose on it instead of the 4 eye'd nose and it desperately needs a paint job. in reality i could be very nice if i put about 1500 into it, but it would still be bone stock.

I see nothing wrong here... A bone stock 86 fox body that needs paint???? Wow, that is a gem. The ones I see have been bastardized 3 generations over...

you asked for it. the first pictures are of course before i hit the guy. the last ones are of me and a buddy removing the damaged radiator support and the aero nose.

this is the only problem with the seats

we found critters when pulling the interior out right after we got it

and my favorite picture my wife performing the initial tune up

and how it sits now with primer grey, jalapeno red, and white.

how much does everyone think i could sell it for as it is sitting. car runs and drives very good, but has 250k miles.

yeah dead mouse. it was sitting in the guys driveway (i use that extremely loosely) for about a year or so. really it was in a field and his house just happened to be there also.
