Currently swapping 6r80 in. Originally a 5 speed. Put the 2011 shifter in and there is a plug on the side of it. When I removed center console to mock up I noticed an unplugged plug that fits in the plug on shifter. Assuming was harness in case was an auto as well but do I need to plug that into the shifter? Does it do anything?
