Looking to switch up my catback on my 07 gt. I have a magnaflow o/r xpipe and either looking to get the pypes super system "which is the mid muffler with pype bomb resonated tips" or a full magnapack catback. I want the quieter of the two but also want quality. What do you guys think?

I would go with the Magnapack set up. The mid muffler set up is cool but I think the Magnaflow is better quality

Magnaflow is better quality, we run their catback on our car and love it. Let us know if you need anything or have any other questions. Give us a shout, we're currently running a sale on magnaflow and other exhausts that we carry.

try this first^^..I had to weld-in resonators because it was just too loud with a Magnaflow o/r X and Magnapack cat-backs...It sounds good with the resonators in it. But try the GT500 mufflers with the off-road x-pipe, it will sound awesome..trust me..

I have the gt500 now with an off road xpipe. Just tired of it. May just switch to an h pipe.

Pypes mid mufflers are the best sounding exhaust for the 3v when paired with long tubes. Period. This video sold me and is what my car sounded like. This is the forum member "Lito". Nothing but compliments or questions about the car whenever I was at the track. Many thought I swapped out the engine with something a bit more ferocious than a little 4.6.

This is the other video that I used when comparing magnapacks. I didn't like the trumpeting on decel so I went with pypes.

However...man was it a pain in the ass. I alot of time and money trying to get it to fit right. If you are moderately lowered, you will scrape over speed bumps. My car with short tires on the 17" wheels on eibach pro-kit springs scraped fairly often.

This time around, I'm welding m-80 resonators onto my factory exhaust and installing muffler deletes. Taller wheels, tires, and springs too.

Now that first video is that just the mid muffler catback or does it have the pype bombs on it as well with the mid mufflers random?

Lito's car is just kooks long tubes, catted x pipe and the mid muffler system. The mid muffler system has basically straight pipes/muffler deletes after the axle. I don't see a reason for more resonators at the axle back unless you want to change the tone or volume. Personally, I think it's dead weight.

Just got mine done today and ended up getting a single 3 inch magnapack and then muffler deletes out back. I had a Bassani offroad x and magnapacks before the turbo and it sounded awesome!

I'm running the pypes mid muffler system with the deletes & o/r x pipe. Its sounds great to me. I've heard the magnapacks are nice too.

I'm running Koot LT with catted H, Magnapacks before the axle and Pypes Super Bomb out the back. I have also added Boos 302 side exits to the h-pipe with QTP electric cutouts (before the actual H). The sound is awesome and with cutouts open, boy is it nice.

I am pretty happy with my Pypes Supersystem. Cast manifolds and maganflow X pipe with cats. Not terribly loud when cursing but come on loud when your in it like there is some kind of electric valve which there isn't kind of the best of both worlds.
