I searched, but didn't find anything, (albeit a quick search only)

anyone that has upgraded to the 2013 gt500 intercooler pump, did it cause foaming/overflow in the or out of the reservoir?

I was unaware that some have had a problem with this when I ordered the new pump. I'm currently using the standard bosch pump a lot of folks use.

I have the 2013 gt500 HE intercooler pump. No issues at all. Works great.

The foaming was occuring on a fellows open track car. It's possible it was water wetter or purple ice that, ironically, caused the problem.

Do not use purple ice.

I run a half bottle of purple ice too. A full bottle would be too much IMO and possibly cause foaming.

I feel it caused poop brown deposits in my overflow tank. No thanks. (It's not engine oil.)

ok good information, thanks.

I got all the parts today, the pump and the harness. As soon as my coolant vacuum refill kit gets here I'll tackle installing the new pump.

I may at some point go out for test and tune, but currently the truck is just my daily driver. I was a little surprised that the iat's were high ( I guess that's a relative term), so I've been doing the required research to formulate a plan to optimize/lower the ait's for everyday driving, especially now the summer is upon is, or soon will be.

I found it on ebay, gearhead surplus. I'll look for a link. this was the best price I found on the pump. I didn't search that hard on the harness.
