Removing Battery - Positive Terminal (How?)

I need to replace my battery and having some serious issues getting the + terminal off.

Any suggestions?

yea left to loosen and right to tighten....use a screw driver to pry it open a little bit without damaging anything and wiggle it while pulling upwards. should not be an issue taking it off

Man I'm crazy ass hungover, no strength this morning - just kept pulling and it finally came off.

More tech question though - do I need to reset the CPU? If so - how?

Yeah sorry about that guys ... car started just fine. Glad the battery is fixed, not so happy I made myself out to be a "tool" ... ah well.

Time to pass back out - now I have a car for tonight.

Disconnecting the battery for 20 minutes resets the cpu.
