Either one will work. Also look at the pypes m80s although those are 12" resoantors, which may be enough depending on your set-up. This is just my IMO, run 18" if you have an o/r midpipe and straight through mufflers or muffler deletes. Use 12" if you have a catted midpipe.

I also cut in pypes m80's. Best thing I ever did to my exhaust. Eliminated all the trumpeting. Tone is still deep and throaty.

Hey Bill,

Well the current setup is now is a gutted x pipe...longtubes and magnaflows...cats where starting to fold over and eventually would have clogged again...i was thinking it would be obnoxiously loud but when i picked up the car...not as bad as i thought...so i just might hold off...i did jump the gun and ordered the dynomax 18inch resonators ..but i think i will be sending them back....As you know my car is lowered so i would also be a little concerened about the resonators hitting ......

Thanks for the info guys !

I have the SLP LMII resonators welded in on my car and haven't had any problems with them hitting anything. I'm still stock height, but they honestly don't hang that far down. I had more problems with the catalytic converters dragging on things than resonators.

Do resonators affect power any?

I just installed an o/r hpipe, and I have FRPP Stingers. It is a little louder and high pitched than I care for, and was looking to do something.

Just don't want to hurt HP/Torque any.

Anybody have a link to the pype's m80's. All I can find are forums taking about them, or youtube videos of them on cars.

eBay or summit racing sells them. Jets has them but that site blows dog IMO.

My throttle response was way improved after the m80 install. Na stang, they would sound amazing with your setup.
