I wish more car forums did this and car show circuits did this. Be nice to collect from forums, mustang week, car and coffee, charities functions so I can have them in a holder to display with my car at car shows

Persistence Is A Bitch
Well, as most of you know, I have patience and am somewhat persistent 
I was more than happy to let others run with the coin idea, but it petered out. So when Shaggy took over I considered how I could jump start the idea. My main goal was that I wanted it to be self sustaining and not a one shot deal. I also wanted a distribution system that didn't rely on one member. If your not set up to sell stuff, seems like guys get tired of doing it. Also, if the guy drops out, your coin supply might also. I also didn't it think it fair that Andrew bear the cost alone.
So I tackled distribution first, I knew JP @ MMS had been here for quite a while and was great to deal with. I asked him if I could get him some coins, could he sell them and order new ones from Andrew as they depleted. He indicated he would be happy to do so.
I then approached Andrew to see if he was still interested in using his contacts and expertise in handling patch/coin work. He indicated he would be more than happy to help out. This was pretty sweet, as he was able to get us a reduced rate using his clout.
Next up was Shaggy. I made a presentation of what I had in mind and some revised artwork from my original idea. I explained potential costs and asked him if he would contribute. He liked the idea and agreed to kick in and told me to make it happen.
STARTUP FUNDING...I pondered on this for quite some time. In the end, I felt strongly enough that I wanted this to happen, that I would try to get a few members to kick in and make it go. Andrew, Shaggy, myself and JP provided the initial startup funds. Hats off to Andrew because he did the real work of coordinating with his coin vendor and JP.
FUTURE FUNDING...You the members, as you buy the initial lot of coins, will fund the next batch to be purchased. The coins will be priced to cover S&H and enough to cover the next purchase. JP and Andrew will work together to make sure the price is right.
ARTWORK
I want to thank Shaggy for giving the OK to run my revised artwork idea. I really, really wanted my revised SAC mail fist. But, after thinking about it, decided the forum warning was the best way to go. I was afraid the text would not be legible, I was happily wrong!
On the other side, since it would be the launching mustang, how best to show that without a background reference. It cost me 1 coin for permission. I think you guys will recognize it. The latin phrase means "strive to be the best"
SO....In roughly 3 weeks time. You guys will be able to purchase this coin from MMS at roughly $7. I think JP and Andrew will coordinate when they start to ship to customers to make sure shipping and future fund accumulation are in sync, so it might fluctuate a buck or 2.

This was an important issue for Brian and we were able to make it happen. I footed the bill for the art development, die and sample charges up front. The cost for the coin at 100 pcs is basically $5 that includes nothing for me or my company; a pass through if you will. That leaves $2 for MMS to pay for shipping and the labor to handle that and order entry.
As Brian mentioned early; he, Jay(@MMS) and Bryan(Shaggy) ponied up the initial $500 to buy the first batch of 100. Once all 100 sell; there should be $700 collected and that should leave $500 after Jay's expenses to buy another 100. IF Jay finds out his costs are more than $2 each to process the order and ship them; than the price will go up accordingly
