How many of you are running a 3.0" (13.5 psi) S/C pulley? What modifications other than an upgraded short block (have that covered) are required? I have planned 60 lb. injectors, BA2400 MAF and custom tune.

Wow. I don't know anyone running 3.0" pulley with Saleen.... other that you've mentioned, Gt500 F/P are running quite high duty with 13.5 psi of boost... remember to datalog duty cycle and injector pressure drop carefully.

I don't think if BA2400 MAF is needed, 90mm Lightining MAF might be enough- check that with Justin.

lots of people are running the 3.0.... the common setup is the 2400 and 60# and tune.
I run a 2.95 15# pulley.

I see you have fuel covered too....
JDM Saleen Extreme Fuel System (GT 500). I believe I have everything covered but I have never installed/run a 3.0" pulley before and wanted to check with those that had.

Has anyone had to replace their coils at 13.5 psi due to spark blowout? I am currently running HT0s @ .032" with my 3.2" pulley and have no spark issues with the stock coils.

I'm running the 3.0 & with 39lbs & stock fuel pump it fell on its face thats why i got the twin gt 500 pumps (just got the replacement a couple days ago since the 1st one was DOA). Also I got the 60lb injectors. I plan to keep my 90mm maf and change the tune so I wont go over maf volts/ad counts. I hope to get it all together this weekend

RoyB, Were you running a 3.4" pulley with the stock fuel pump? I asked Jim about doing that he says I will be fine if I keep the revs under 6500rpms. I plan on upgrading the fuel system over the winter but I could use some more power now!

yes, it will be fine - I've ran mine to 7000 rpms with the 3.4 pulley - no real issues at all.

Here is what I have learned. To upgrade from a 3.2" (11.5 psi) pulley to a 3.0" (13.5 psi) pulley the following is required:
  • 2400 MAF
  • 60 lb./hr injectors w/adapter harnesses
  • 3.0" pulley
  • Custom tune
I also found out the K061075 belt that is used with the 3.2" pulley can be used with a 3.0" pulley if you are running the OEM 90mm idler pulley in place of the plastic Saleen idler pulley at the location next to the P/S pump and a V10 W/P pulley.

Ha ha, I am waiting till I have my build long block in before I go down to the 3.4" pully. Then I'll put the 2.95" one in once I have a better transmission.
