When you took your coolant crossover tube off, were the gaskets underneath it rubber? What I mean is, if I replace my coolant crossover tube, do I need new gaskets?

There are 2 gaskets, one on each side

Just reused the original ones.
+1 most of the gaskets on this engine are reusable rubber gaskets. Unless they get cut/ripped/burnt, just gently pry them out of the grove and move them over...

Now I'm glad I didn't do my charge motion plates yet, I'll do all this at the same time.

yes sir they are right, just reuse the gaskets. just clean em off if they are dirty and be careful pulling them out. inspect them for damage before reusing them
