Triple IMO, but yes if you get them for under $400 and your head are already apart or you can swap them yourself, they are a good bang for the buck.

Ya, I wouldn't do a cam swap on a gt500 unless the motor was out and I was doing head work anyway. In my case, I was.

It seems like L&M has been using the Bullet cams in alot of their newer built 5.4-5.8 setups.

I'm guessing the Bullets are custom grinds though.

They are, believe me I should've went that route, but figured there is a big chance I'm going to start building a 5.8 for this car this season as well, may as well put the big money into that build.

That will be a big money build no doubt.

Michael has his own cam designs, he uses no one else's, Comp grinds to his specs. I sometimes regret not adding a set when my motor was redone, but the bill was getting bigger by the day and I didn't want to spend the cash at the time, :argh:

An addition down the road for ya.... I've been looking at head and cams combo for mine and the money to have it done right can burn your wallet easily...it's to the point where im not even gonna entertain the thought without building the entire longblock.

if I ever decide to get stupid with the car, then maybe, IIRC, the cams and to install & degree them would have added $2500-$3000 at the time, since the car had already put down 950 to the tire with the set up that was going back in, I didn't see the need.

Damn!

Boost?
Spark?

22.5 (3.0 pulley, on a Whipple 3.4), 23* I wanna say. E85. Injectors are maxed out... I need to go bigger.

We may just go URT-A and try the 2.875 pulley (24psi)

Those are some pretty damn good numbers Seer!

Are custom grind cams similar in cost to regular cams?
