I finally got my car and all the parts to my mechanic. Most of you guys know I have brenspeeds vortech v3 and blew my stock block. I then ordered brenspeeds stage 2 rotating assembly. I've been without my car for about two months now and it just flat out sucks not having my car lol. I searched for some estimates on the power I should have with b302 engine with vortech but came up short. Anyone have a similar set up or any guesstimates?

Don't have a similar setup but I feel your pain. Btw it doesn't get any better. Doing same basic thing you are and Im getting mine back tomorrow. Been in a shop since the first weekend in sept.

Cry me a river! I put my car away for the winter the first week of Oct and don't expect to see it again until mid April at the earliest. Lol honestly we are pretty much exactly the same right now. Driving my car everyday for 4 years and all of a sudden I've been out of my car for 2 months and all my friends and family have to drive me around it's so annoying.

Lmao off man. I'm 19 and still with mg parents so every damn day I go to work I have my mom drop me off in the very back so nooooo one can see lol. It sucks so bad. The sad thing is I dont think my mechanic has even touched the car...

My engine is being built now also. been down since Sept 29, 2011 Yeah i know the damn date! I should be running in a month for sure! Its actually going very fast at CRT-Performance in Ohio. They havent wasted any time as I didnt take the car up till Thanksgiving week! They have done suspension and roll cage also.

When I had the V-3 and the B302 I was making about 560 RWHP,stock cams,LT headers,stock heads.
Switched to a YSI and some comp 127205s tuned by Mike at "Big Daddys" making 682 RWHP.Trans swap coming this summer if the money allows.Then the car is done.

If all you are changing is the rotating assembly (no cams, heads or more boost) it will make the same power it did before, only hopefully it will last a little longer.

I would think you would make a bit more torque and horsepower with the increase in stroke. Slap a smaller pulley on there and let'er rip.

I have the same set up. I think my car was pretty quick before the engine blew. My best friend has a srt8 charger with ported heads, and a ported intake manifold with stage 2 cams and i pulled on him from a 30 roll. I was surprised cuz his car is faster than mostly everything in my town.

Lots of folks underestimate the V3 set up , always talking about lag and not coming on quick enough. I never found that to be a problem. Car can go from a mild streetable ride to Oh shit real fast.
