So why don't 10in wide square setups work?

I was checking American muscle looking at some 18x10s figuring I'd run 4 of em for track wheels and they have them listed as "rear only".

I'd like to stay away from a 9in wheel if possible, just curious if you guys can tell me if there's a specific reason a 10 won't work up front, and if there's anything to be done to clear it.

Also should the 18s (either 18x9 or 18x10) have any issue clearing Brembos? Thanks

There Could be a few reasons. 1. Big brake kits 2. Center cap might not fit, I run 18x10 wheels on all four corners with no issues- wont fit big brake kits. If u want brembo clearing wheels and 18x10 on all four corners look at lmr's drifts they fit

I believe neema is running 19x10s all around.

And the guys at Vorshlag have developed an 18x10, and sells another Forgestar 18x10 that clear the Brembo's and are designed for track use.

Good info there. They'll be track wheels so I could care about center caps. AM says on the site the fronts would clear Brembos... maybe the rear doesn't ?
I'll check out the lmr's as well
any/all othe rinfo is appreciated

After looking, those LMR/SVE wheels are the best bet for the cost. $600 a set is damn hard to beat for a set of square 18x10s.
Thanks guys

Several guys run 18x10 on all four corners. Are they +45mm offset?

I run 19x10s in the front but it's not very graceful because I need 15mm spacers. If the wheel had a little more spoke clearance (like sve drifts, RTRs, or Linea corse lc818), you could run 10" wheels with ~40 offset all day. Here's what mine ended up looking like:

Vorshlag managed to get 18x11s up front (don't know how much extra clearance their coilover strut allows them) and 18x12s out back with 315/35 tires all around. They used a 12" wheel out back in hopes of running Hoosier's 345/30/18, but that turned out being too big of a tire. It takes camber up front, but that shouldn't be an issue for a track setup--Fair@Vorshlag runs almost 4° of camber in autoXs though, and that's a bit much for a road course. I think you can get away with less. The biggest reason for running 10.5+ wheels would be to run 305/35/18 r888s or 315 Hoosiers. otherwise you can do 10" square wheels with the same offset front and rear with 275s or 285s all day with plenty of room to spare.

Hope this helps

We run 18x10's all the way around on our track wheels and tires, with a big brake kit and no issues.

What is the weight of those Drift wheels in 18x10?

Also what tire size are you running in that pic? It seems as though all the wide/sporty 18 UHP/ExtremePerformance Summer tires are a bit short compared to stock OD.

19x10 all around for me. I had to run a 5 mm spacer for the center caps to work, other than that no issues.

The 18 x 10 Roush wheels work as well, both cast and forged. The forged ones are harder to find though.
