Steeda HD strut mounts torque spec

Below is the email. FYI the instructions on their website are not current (yet).

Hi Steve,
The attached instructions do not list a spec for the outer nuts, just 46 ft/lbs for the main upper strut nut.
Here are steps 8 & 9:

8. Remove the four upper strut mount nuts from the new assembly. Then align the Steeda logo with the outside of the vehicle.
9. Reinstall the strut assembly following the factory installation procedures

So you should use factory specs.

There you go. I have a strut tower brace coming in the mail today so when I get home to install it I will use factory specs and some loctite.

If no spec, I say OEM...
But 46 sounds about right for the strut nut though impossible for me I used an impact.

That "So you should use factory specs" from my post was not my line. That was Rodney from Steeda. So you are on the same page as Steeda. A lot of folks use impact on the top. In fact, the LateModelRestoration spring install video they have uses the impact wrench in the video.
