Steering rack question

Ok turns out I need a new rack for my 08 . Instead of installing a stock replacement I did some research to see what My options are. Aside from a manual rack there aren't many. I did read a post on another site where someone used a Gt 500 ramanufactured rack. He said it was a direct fit and was a quicker ratio. I checked some online parts stores and they list the Gt and Gt500 rack as the same part number. Anyone know if there's a difference between the two?thanks

Tousley lists it for $318, Tasca lists it for $422 but their price is always better if you talk to Steve.

Skwerl is it a stock Gt rack?

Yes, same as all the other Mustangs. I don't have the pump any more but I'll include the hoses and tie rod ends. I'd rather see it go to good use than go to the scrap yard.

I picked up my replacement rack from O'Reillys for $220 with a lifetime warranty.

Yea I may go that route. My dad works part time at auto parts store so he gets a discount. Just wondering if I get a remanufactured Gt500 will it be different than a standard Gt. Skwerl thanks for the offer
