Announcing Strano's SB1-SB5 Sway bar kits, as well our new 1" solid 2-position adjustable Rear Sway Bar for all 2005+ Mustangs, including Convertibles!

A quick word about the new rear bars:
The 6805 is a new addition to the line which was brought about for a few reasons. 2011+ GT's, Boss and Laguna Seca Boss 302's are coming with 24, 25, and 26mm bars respectively. I wanted to offer a bar that gave those folks some tuning options without going excessively large (some bars are just way too big). This bar is also great for Convertible owners as it helps with the greater weight, and the softer dampers those cars come equipped with.

Part number 8419 is a Tubular 1" rear bar that fits nicely between the #8337 7/8" bar, and the 6805 Solid 1" bar. The 8419 is 3-position Adjustable, just like the original 7/8" bar and features all the same specs and features of the 8337.

Sway bar packages-choices?

Sam, need recommendations for '12 GT with brembo package with Steeda Ultralights and stock dampers and struts. Mostly street driven with occasional track day use.
Thanks

Sam x2 on the recommendation. I was looking at S197SB4, but would like your thoughts and input.

2007 GT:
Handling: KW v3, steeda adj uca, umi lca & relo brackets, steeda adj panhard bar & brace, Wilwood 13" 6-pistons, 275 nitto nt555 but will be moving up to nt05 when tires wear.
Performance: Bolt-ons. intake, 62mm tb, hot rod cams, udp, cmdp, jba shorty headers, o/r x-ipipe, borla stingers.

Mainly street driven, occasional open track at willow springs and buttonwillow, haven't autocrossed yet but want to try it out, and occasional 1/4 but not too concerned with setting my car up for that, I'd rather turn then burn. Car seems to oversteer more than I like. I dont mind giving up some street manners for better performance.

One of the reasons I'm offering a variety of rear bar is because folks seem to have more different wants than I anticipated. One of the first things I did was move to the 22mm adjustable from the stock 24 bar on my Brembo car (though this was with stock springs where the rears are stiffer than the fronts) and I preferred that. As you get the springs more balanced and folks run more staggered tire/wheel setups, I found some were tending to use the middle or stiff setting more than the full soft one, so I figured it was time to do the 1" hollow to move the available range up a bit.

Really I can't say which until/unless we can chat a bit about thing like what they balance is like, alignment, tires, etc.

Stock is a solid non-adjustable 24mm on the rear. The 8419 1" is the middle of the road bar, similar to what you have, but lighter and of course adjustable. You can to the 6805 if you want it stiffer, or the 8337 if you want it softer. Really the trick is assessing what you have now to figure out what you might best make use of later. :)

With the spring rates in play on the V3's, then the SB4 would be what I'd recommend here.
