Thanks.

I checked the website:

"Part Number STB011 clears OE engine covers and Magnuson superchargers. Also all STB do not work with Kenny Bell Positive Displacment Superchargers. Available in Black Hammertone or red powdercoat."

Didn't say anything about clearing a procharger intake. Does anybody have a strut tower brace with their procharger and engine cover? If I have to, i can dump the engine cover but I think it looks nice.

We have never verified fitment with the procharger and engine cover. But i don't believe that it will clear.

We never found one that fit. We fab'd one up once to clear but you have to remove the hood blanket to make it fit and it did not have the engine cover. We figured nobody would want to remove their hood blanket, so never went any farther with getting one put into production.

Of course if there were enough interest, we may resurrect the project.

I know a lot of guys that have pulled their hood blankets. I also know there are a lot of guys who would like an STB to clear there S/C's, Whipples in particular. I don't know if there is enough room with the stock hood but if you guys could develop one for those type of applications I'm sure you culd sell a bunch. I see at least one thread a month on people looking for an STB to clear this and that.

I never found one to work with my 2007 that had a Stage 2 Procharger on it cause of the intake tube from the filter. Now for the Whipple I know that Steeda sells one that works with it.

I took at look at it but it looks as if it has a supporting link from the cross over bar to the mount that would cause a problem. Maybe I am wrong?? Looks awesome though.

Blow By Racing has a strut brace listed on their website that says it clears the procharger, but nothing about the plenum cover.

I could always call and ask..............

That is what I thought when I looked at it as well. I think those lower braces are going to run right into the inlet tube. You could PM BBR_John here on this site to verify if one of the theirs would work.

BMR's went across mine fine, 1/2" to 3/4" clearance. It was originally hammertone, powdered for some pop:

Worth mentioning is that picture was before doing a BMR K-member, when I did the "K" I lost some clearance as I did not get the K that lowered the motor. Hard launches netted enough twist to net a slight touch on the engine cover. I shimmed the brace via a washer and it's fine.

Again, it was only close because of the K member change, running the oem K member I had plenty of room.

Additionally, I had gotten it to fit even with the prochargers air intake in their produced location, but as you will see in the picture, I relocated the Air intake. It's now in the front behind the Cervinis bumpers air slot on the drivers side. I'll see if I can dig up any old pictures of everything before all the changes.

good info. Did you have to remove the hood blanket? Is that a custom air intake for the procharger or did you get it somewhere?

Cervinis hood with no blanket.

I fabbed the air intake. I should have just posted those pics as well as it usually causes a stir. Here's a few pics of it as I pieced things together and worked through the project:

New location allowed for a larger filter over the pewny turd procharger supplies - win win on the move:
