I am selling my 15x8 and 15x3.75 race stars here locally. A fellow asked me if they would fit a 5x4.25 bolt pattern. Does anyone know for sure?

He says he has a 93 mustang and did the 5 lug conversion. he says his bolt pattern is 5x4.25. Everywhere I have looked online says the 5 lug conversions for these cars make them 5x4.5. He swears that is not so. I may just tell him they wont fit just so I dont have to deal with the hassle....LOL

Is it the one with these oval holes?
I think they make them that way so they can fit a few cars.

I think your guys is wrong. 5 lug conversion for a mustang Fox body is 5x4.5.. The uni lug Racestars fit either ford 5x4.5 and chevy 5x3/4s

Yeah, but the reason Im asking is that the mounting instructions I have only mention 5x4.5, 5x4.75, and 5x5. Just wanted to make sure

Mustangs were all 5x4.5 bolt spacing. The only Fords, that I know of, that used the 5x4.25 were the Windstar, Freestar vans, Tarus and some T-Birds. 5x4.25 is a metric 118 number, I don't know what the hell he thinks he has but if you don't need the money real bad I don't think I would mess with this cretin.

Or you can just tell him the wheels will fit his 4.25" and take his money. As long as they fit he can't argue much, can he?

The only rear wheel drive car that I know of that had 5 on 4.25 is Volvo, Lincoln, and Jaguar.

I think he is confused because the factory bolt pattern on a Fox is 4 on 4.25.

All Fox body 5 lug conversions are 5 on 4.5.
