Swirls and Scratches

So im new to detailing my car has 8xxx miles on it and already the car has some minor scratches and swirls! is this a task for an inexperienced detailer if i want to do the whole car? i am adamant about doing my own work but a clear coat is expensive and i don't want it to look like shit.

Definitely look into a DA buffer.....I've had my porter cable for almost 2 years and am very satisfied with the results it gives.
