I agree, that is a lot more power to contend with. Putting the power down may end up being the most difficult thing. I wonder what that car would ET and trap right now as it sits.
i think eddie said he did a min 9 sec pass at 16xmph a few weeks ago. we dont work togather anymore so i dont see him everyday now, he has hsi own shop in west palm beach and im at a dealer in ft lauderdale

The chute was packed right but we made a lot of aero changes and the chute isn't getting enough air. Most prostock cars run an airduct or c02 assisted chutes.

So far our first pass of 238 is one of the fastest. Everything seems slower this year

Well we are done after the lambo accident.

Shop friend Rich Hole lost control of his tt gallardo at about 230 when his chute caught a cross wind and hit a berm and caught about 20 feet of air and rolled 10 times or more. Luckily he walked away from it. The footage is INSANE

Was that the UGR car that went 251 last year? Bald headed guy driving it?

Yea. Orange lambo. Jonah drives one and Rich has the orange SL gallardo.

We ended up breaking our diff yesterday in the supra. I put a go pro in SWs car
and you can see the whole thing. I'll upload it when I get home. I'm in the truck now heading back

Yea. We were lining up our GTR right after him and I was right on the Tarmac behind him.

The guys actually a really good driver. He raced prostock. I wa watching the crash footage and the chute got caught by a sudden crosswind causing his accident. When y'all see the foothe y'all are going to be amazed he walked out. When I first saw it happen I expected the worst

With crosswinds that bad they should have called it until they died down. Irresponsible safety issue IMO by the event promoter.

Easy enough to say after the fact but life threatening events are no joke.

Glad to hear he walked away.

baby steps, kid, baby steps.

Glad noone got seriously injured.

Bad part is... here come ALOT of rules....

I agree, but with the open road events you have to graduate up to the unlimited class. Also the open road events have very , very strict rules but still there are crashes and people die.

Where's the vid of the Lambo catching air? I've read about it on a ton of forums but no one has posted it
