Don't take stock advice off a car forums.
It's really no worse than taking it from some overpaid financial "whiz". You wonder why the vast majority of fund managers can't beat the market over 5 years. One reason is fees, and the other reason is they don't know more than the market. You want a long-term strategy, buy the SPDR ETF and be done with it. You want an inflation hedge, buy GLD.

You want to get into picking individual stocks, well, you either need some good information, which borders on illegality, or just be lucky. Maybe you can buy a stock ahead of earnings hoping for a good report...maybe you get lucky. Who knows? There are plenty of strategies. And if you have enough money to make it worthwhile to day trade, more power to ya...if that's the case, you know the market well, it's your full-time job, and you don't need our advice anyway.

I went to school for finance. This stuff ain't science, but I guess I'm glad some people still don't get it because if everyone knew it, I'd need to go back to school for something else.

That's about the smartest thing I've heard from you on these forums. Kudos to you!

However, you never know who you're posting with. Some of us here have a background in the financial markets. I have a BA in Business; majored in Corporate Finance, which means I took a lot of investment & banking classes.

Once upon a time, the Wall Street Journal used to compare stock results of experts versus stocks picked by random dart throws at a dartboard. The dartboard won half the time - absolutely a 50/50 chance of experts beating random luck.

yeah im reading up on different stuff now, but also i have several around me that have been playing with stocks for a few years.

I know my goal is a toss right now . I would love to tunr a quick profit if possible. But i would liek to get something to just sit fo rthe futur and see how it goes.

Ive spent prob $50k 2009 in/out of my hands physically at a casino.. And then way to much on my stang and truck.. So i think this might be a better option for me LOL. start's off way cheaper LOL

LOL...I wish I got paid...for something...anything! Another one of those losers with a degree and no job.

As far as the stock, I have no idea. There's not much volume on it, so I don't know what kind of movement you'd expect it to make. If you know there's going to be some sort of announcement coming up, maybe you can buy on that. Pure speculation.

Always remember... Don't invest any money you can't afford to lose. Nothing is a sure bet. And please DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH... Especially with penny stocks.

That's funny I just found this thread. My mom just gave me 50 shares of Ford Stock for Xmas....

And I had been thinking about buying some, maybe I'll do that and add to the 50 I have now.

Penny Stocks Investing Trading Help

:newbie::dead2::highfive::chairfall::damnit:

Penny Stocks are considered as the fast movers of the stock market. These stocks often race around like Ferraris, while large stocks such as IBM and Microsoft lumber along like the giants that they are. Our chances are slim on finding such a success story which starts dreaming about investing in the next big thing.

Do you actually read? He said he started with $1500 initially and then the next few times after he started with $1000. He was winning and loosing the whole time. So that means probably 50% of what he was playing with was winnings. So he was not BLOWING 50k of his salary.
