I have to say first that I will never own a black car again. After a week of a minor detail on the paint I still had scratches so I set out to do some research. I decided to pick up a lot of Chemical Guys products to fully renew my paint and interior. There is more products that are not in the picture also. I will update as I go.

The candles are to set the mood while detailing btw......incase someone asks...

Ya there where so many brands out there to choose from. I figured I would try with all one brand before others. And from what I see and hear, CG makes some nice products.

Just tried the Black Light last night and the results were awesome. Not the greatest day to get pics but you can see its shiney LOL. It goes on and off easy and would recommend it.

I keep saying I'm gonna do the same to my car. I really need to spend the cash and drive down to pick up some of those flex logic pads from CG on the way home tomorrow.

To be honest I waxed the car a few months ago and have been using Finish Kare 425 detail spray weekly between washes (which by the way Is awesome stuff). I just hit it with the Black Light to see how it would turn out. I need to pick up some v7 to top it off but I'm happy with the results for a hour of work.

Invest in some of their Microfiber+ cleaner. Looks like you picked up a couple towels there and this will keep them in your detailing closet longer.

^^^^ Let me put it this way. I use the Costco or Sams towels for engine compartment and undercarriage.

Chemical guys, or other good towels are for the paint.

i just get the bulk pack at costco, are the chemical guys mf towels better?

The cheap costco towels don't hold up well. They shed and I've found the quality to be inferior...which is why they're sold in bulk. Lemme put it this way, after getting quality microfibers and using them a while the costco stuff feels like sandpaper.
