I know this this isnt mustang related but I assumed this would be the best place for it. Ive checked other sites and havent had any luck. My parents own a 04 mercury maruader. The car is HORRIBLE on tires i bet they go through a set a year. The fronts are bad about wearing out on the inside or outside. The rears are bad about wearing out on the inside center.
Ford does all the tech work on this car and they have aligned the car to mercury "specs" but it still wears out. And no one seems to know whats causing the rear tires to wear in the center. I know this is the 2nd set ruined in just over a year for the car. The tires are also VERY exspenisive BFG KDW's but they are in a certain size and this car is the only car to use this tire as of right now...or once again as ford says. Are they screwing my parents around here trying to make money off them or can we go with a different tire?

Your correct different size front and back. But dude check out mercurymarauder.net do a search; plenty of info to help. Car fixer alignment to resolve the tire wear up front and run 38-40psi for the rears to prevent center wear.

Thanks boss! Didnt know a site for the marauders even exsisted!
