TMI Sports XR seat frame

Im sure some of you read up about these, apparently they are coming out within the next month. When I first saw this, I thought they were just seats but they arent. As far as I know its coming with the seat foam and a custom frame to make the mustangs existing seat look like these. I hope they give a choice of just the foam and the frame and also a choice of that plus leather covers. Looking at their site, with the covers included, I bet they will be around 600-800 per seat. I know a lot of their foam is no more than $150 per seat.

They removed the headrest of the mustang seat and had a custom frame made to make it look like a recaro I guess. A full set in that seat you just showed is $1399, I dont really know how their pricing works though. If its not much cheaper, I would buy the recaros instead. If it is a lot cheaper, I may look into it. Looks pretty good to me.

Covers front and back from what I see on their site. It doesnt look like it comes with foam, but I dont see why it wouldnt since its obvious that you cant make the seat covers work without them.

Yeah I just saw that, $187 for the foam. The site sucks, it doesnt have a way to buy the foam, it just shows what it looks like and the price.


I hope the 2005-2014 XR seats are priced reasonably. I love the recaro look, just not the price.

I didn't even find the price for the foam, I gave up, they look cool, but too much work I think.

I was excited when these popped up last year, especially when all their ads list 05-14 compatibility... yet if you read the details (which they confirmed via an email I sent last year), not compatible with seat airbags.
