I just got a set of regrinds stage 2 from a friend. Also on the website is says safe with vct but if I go with the springs shouldnt I lock the vct out? I really want to keep my vct.

It's up to you to use the VCT lockouts or not. On higher hp applications we strongly recommend it. We've seen the VCT fail too many times.
