I went to pop the hood and show someone the new nitrous set up on the car yesterday and noticed that the plug on my JLT intake tube that covers where the gay ass sound tube should be was missing.
When driving to where I was at I ran the shit out of the car, ran fine. It's an 11 GT w/OR H, JLT Intake and tune. Nitrous was not being sprayed.
It makes no damn sense to me. When doing the nitorus setup I was doing some trial and error and had the JLT intake on the TB but not tight enough. When I started the car that very small amount of air that crept in made it spit and sputter and die. How the hell could this thing run with a gaping hole in the intake AFTER the MAF??
My main question is, if the car is running fine now could there have been any real damage done? I'd assume it was running lean as shit the whole time that plug was missing, which I'm not really sure of how long it was...
