Just wondering how many people here have no performance mods to the engine. I've been driving my car for about a year now and I feel the need for more speed. I made the mistake of driving the 5.0 and that really made my car feel slow. I really want to get a tuner and cai but haven't done it yet.

But in my defense it's a Bullitt so it came with a CAI from factory... lol. And I'd like a few FRPP goodies for it when I find a new job...

lol, close to 50 grand and 500whp later, I still feel unmodded. Guess I need a forged short block, ported heads, and a 6 speed transmission. Then maybe i'll be "modded".

Ford is always going to make a faster mustang. Why? BECAUSE THEY SELL! If they were still making mustangs with the power of non-PI 96-98 GT's, would we buy them? Probably not.

If you have a nice mustang, drive it and enjoy it. Get out of whatever financial straits you are in and mod it. I guarantee you there are guys with NA 4.6l's on this website that would laugh if a semi-modded 5.0 pulled up next to them in the staging lanes....
