Well just got it back after the body shop inspected my 07 GT. It's a mess! The frame ends where the bumper bolts on is bent w/only 1 bolt on the drivers side. They say the vertical sheet metal around the radiator isn't welded to the frame etc. (I need to look at another S197 to see if the metal is spot welded to the frame or gets bolted together like the old days). They wouldn't even touch it!
So my big question is: how do I even know if there's even any airbags in the car? How can I check it?
There's no light on. With the "Mickey mouse" body work done I'm sure the bags were deployed. (Nothing reported to Car fax). But I doubt if the bags got replaced, they can't re-use them correct? I know nothing about air bags! Anyway this is my Wife's main concern is whether the car is even safe at this point! Hey thanks you guys!
