Looking forward to seeing some installed pics of the new armrest cover. Looking good, Mike and Marcy. :thumb:
thanks brian, i`m almost afraid to post a pic of the 10+ cover before we know if it will work on the car. should know this week. :popcorneat:

WOW! The alcantara looks good! Amazing work as usual guys... :thumb2:
thanks speed. ya, the alcantara is a little pricy, but it sure does look good, and it feels really nice. a little harder to work with cause with no stretch and on the stiff side it tends to pucker at seams on/or curves, but they are really turning out nice. :stir:

been sending out quite a bit of black alcantara lately so i`m guessing the boss wheels are getting installed. sent a brake cover to a guy in the mustang club of Great Britain, so we have shipped parts to about 6 countries so far. thanks to every one for spreading the word.

this person wanted a shorter shift boot and wanted us to install it on the trim ring. we can do that

rumor has it weve been working on a padded leather armrest cover for the 2010+ cars. after not thinking we could do much, we have made a awesome looking cover and are shipping it out this week for evaluation. thanks to pete for shipping us his armrest lid from his 2012.

looks familiar:

I just noticed that Mike has been selling his crafts here for over a year with probably close to 100% satisfaction, but yet he only has 10 ITrader ratings? WTF is this chit? I'd like to make a request that all you happy buyers go back and give Mike an ITrader review. I know he must have over 100 customers on this forum alone.

brian, thanks but thats just how it goes. we have sold many parts on this forum this past year. profits are small, still cant get that used bullitt or even a gt that ive wanted, or to quit my hotel day job, but grateful just to have any mustang. special thanks to everyone for the support and to kimmer for letting us do it :hi:i posted a link to this forum on our website too. we hope the best for everyone as we go into this new year

we have not had any color choices in the leather until today!! we now have access to authentic OEM 05-09 interior pebble grain seat leather. i have charcoal and med parchment (also referred to by fords as camel) on the way here this week. it will be a perfect option that ive been trying to get for the last year. it will cost a little more than the aftermarket leathers we have been using, but will be priced the same as the glove leather option we have so not too much more for the oem material. interior color and texture will be a exact match to the seat leather. next up as soon as i can will be the med dove gray, the crimson red and the light stone. the OEM option will be added this weekend to the website.

with that said, the aftermarket pebble we have is super nice, has a very close to oem pebble grain on the interior(door panel, console, dash penels ect) but is smooth and soft to the touch. we also sell a equal amount of the smooth leather we have. its stiffer when its new, takes longer to relax but breaks in and softens up with conditioner and age and does look real good.

we are also excited and almost ready to add the padded leather armrest covers for the 2010-2012 mustangs to the lineup.

^That looks great! Will you be doing that in alacantra?
thanks GF, we havent tried one yet, just a couple so far in the smooth and pebble grain. we use the scrap leather that we dont sell off the hides for prototype stuff. the alcantara is too expensive to work with. i didnt realize how big that lid really was till i had it in my hand. i thought it was alot smaller from peaking through some windows. this is sneak peak stuff, i`ll get the details worked out this next week.

we used some nice smooth leather for that first prototype in the pic, and had it fitted on a car to make sure it would work. that was a custom install there, then we changed the pattern to make it production doable ( the only changes are on the underside of the cover) we should be able to do it though in alcantara and it should really be sweet. i`m also checking into the oem material for the new cars. hope to find something out this next week. i think it really looks nice, its got our 1/4" padding inside it and feels really good. we followed the grooves in the lid for our stitch lines, but we couldnt get the U shape groove to work out so we have to just run the stitch straight off the bottom/back. i dont think it takes anything away from the looks.

Finally got around to installing my shift boot. Love the white stitching, especially with the armrest cover already there. Excellent quality on this piece!

Can you do 1/2 leather 1/2 Alacantara to match the GT500 wheel?
looking good SVT, that white stitching does look great. thanks for the pics!!

we do that for the armrests and the ebrake covers. we could make a 4 panel shift boot, but the material thicknesses would be different to wrap onto the trim ring at the corners. might still work. is that what you were thinking?

heres charcoal alcan on this ebrake, more people have gone with the blk alcantara and our pebble grain leather like on this armrest cover

the OEM Charcoal and Med.Parchment leathers are now in stock. this is really nice material, a little thicker than the aftermarkets and the perfect match for the seat leather.

there are pics of the samples on page 2 of the website if you scroll down.

heres some pics too..the 3 aftermarket leathers, the charcoal and black alcantara and the new oem material in black and parchment

start a little piggy bank. shouldnt take long to come up with enough,(about the price of a tank of gas) and we`ll be ready for ya. we think it is the best leather cover for the money hands down. i`m still rolling with the original smooth leather we started with and its still very nice after 40,000 dd miles. the aftermarket pebble is also nice and has been most selected choice since we got it. the alcantara is in a class of its own.

it took 2 years but we finally just got the ford OEM pebble matching seat leather in stock in charcoal and parchment. we just made the first charcoal cover with it and i have to say this is some nice leather. its a little heavier than the aftermarket leather, has a very uniform grain and matches the seats so perfect that its gonna look like it came with the oem leather interior. hang tight if your thinking about a dove gray or crimson red, hoping to get those in the near future. this material will cost a little more, but its a awesome option.

alot of buzz on the padded armrest covers for the 2010-2013 stangs. we are still not offering them yet, but its getting closer. ive nailed down the smooth oem charcoal and am working on what guys are calling saddle in the 2011`s. theres no listing for a saddle, there is a cashmere listed for 2011. if anyone has any input or pics i could really use the info. i`m gonna order some materials this week.

on the saddle, they dont list "saddle" as a option for the 2011. the material supply house doesnt use the same names though as the dealers. they do list a cashmere though. both the smooth charcoal and the cashmere are a NUDO grain leather.

tried to get a pic of the cashmere up against the charcoal for color, hard to capture. it does look a little darker/ creamy than the pic. kinda looks more whiteish in the pic. does this look in the ballpark to what you guys have? if you can, please post up any closeup pics of the saddle you have too, that will help alot.

on a sad note, i havent been able to sit down with marcy and nail any prices down as shes going through a bad time right now. her mom just got checked into a hospice house yesterday, maybe a couple days to a week to live. shes been staying at the hospital alot last week and at hospice now. shes doing shifts, some days, some nights with other family members so someone will be with her mom. i have to head down there this afternoon myself.

so its in the works, wont be too long. we`ll have a couple oem colors and alcantara. i`ll post more info as soon as i can
