Selling a pair of FR500S calipers. These are coming off of an 07 GT, more specifically one of Miller Motorsports Park GT School cars. The car currently has 25k miles on it so I can assume these do to. I recently rebuilt them with new seals and dust boots as well as fresh paint. They look a lot better than they did but I'm pretty hard on myself and can say they could look better. I reached out to the Powder House and it would be $245 for a complete tear down, rebuild and paint. Just thought I'd throw that out there for anyone wondering what it would be to get it professionally done.

They will come with hardware and lines but no pads. You will need the brackets to mount em. Part# M-2134-R I believe the correct rotors to run with these are 355x32mm. I'm sure you can find a cheaper 1-piece rotor option over a 2-piece rotor.

Now for the bad. The driver side caliper does have a stuck bleeder screw. If you saw my thread I am not comfortable with snapping it off and then trying to drill and tap. Hopefully the price will reflect this and someone gets a great deal on these calipers. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Price: $600 shipped OBO. Open to any offers.

These are the same as the GT500 Brembos right? Fit the GT caliper mount and hoses? Rotors are pretty inexpensive for these brakes.

No sir these are not the same as the GT500 Brembo's. They will not fit the standard GT mounts. That's why you would need part #M-2134-R. Hoses may, not 100% on that though. Different Brembo family if you will. These are considered a F40/F50/GT1 caliper whereas the GT500 Brembo's are in an E Family caliper. I'm not sure what the piston sizes are for the GT500's but these have a 44/40mm pistons.

I honestly don't know and have been researching that myself. Would like to find a cheaper alternative for myself if I ever need. Will do some digging and let you know what I find.

After some research I couldn't find a definitive answer if the GT500 rotors will fit these. I can say however, that it seems the 2-piece rotors that fit these calipers can in fact fit on the GT500 calipers. So I don't see why the GT500 rotors couldn't fit these as well. Will do some more searching though...

What is causing the bleeder valve to stick? Was there sealant put on it or maybe cross threaded?

I really do not know but I really feel as though sealant of some sort was used. It appears to be straight in the caliper and doesn't appear to be cross threaded.

Still available. Please feel free to send me your best offers. Worst I can say is no.

Side note: In the near future I hope to test a set of GT500 rotors. I'm confident they will fit and will report back my findings.

thought I would throw this out there, the gt500 rotors will fit, there is a slight variation in the thickness but the piston should well make up for that. Also anyone mounting these need the the correct bracket AS WELL as the shims to align is correctly over the rotor.

Yes I was able to test this, the rotors do fit but unfortunately the caliper is off. The GT500 rotors sit too far out and doesn't allow the caliper to bolt to the brackets. I'm not sure where you could get the correct brackets to make the GT500 rotors work. It would probably be a bit pricier than just buying the "Saleen" rotors linked above.

RockAuto sells a 2007-2012 GT500 rotor for $41, Centric P/N 12161089.

Thank you for that. Unfortunately the GT500 rotors will not work for this application.
