Used Mustang

Hi guys,

Been a while since I posted. Had trade my 2012 for a new F150 last summer. That eco boost is an awesome engine. Anyway, in the spring I am going to be looking for a used Mustang. Budget will be about $16K. I like the looks of the New Edge Cobras but I am thinking a 3 V is probably what I will go for. Question is- are there any significant mechanical differences in the 05 to 09 Mustangs? Anything in particular I should watch for? Long term plan is to supercharge the 3V looking for about 400-450 RWHP.

Stick with the mid 08+ with the newer style cylinder heads and one piece plugs. That, and most all of the little minor issues were worked out by then.

This. Plus there are several small improvements that were made in the later years (07+ vs 05-06)

I saw that. Is a sweet car! Y problem is I have to unload a 2004 HD Ultra Classic first. No one is buying motorcycles in Iowa right now.
