VMR wheels

I remember looking into VMR wheels when I was considering jumping to a Pontiac G8 GT a few years ago, and I loved their wheels and finishes. While they have been known to only make BMW/Audi bolt pattern wheels, I revisted their site and they now offer the Mustang/370z/G37 bolt pattern (5 x 114.3).

Question is if anyone knows their offsets and if anyone has tried them. Their 7 spoke V710 wheels is very much like AMR/RTR wheels except they offer hypersilver, which is something I think I like to have as for color on my DIB.

The wheel that has my attention is the V701 wheel, because everyone here has the V710 style wheel.

Jinx i dont know about them but if you want that style in hypersilver you can get Mesh7 from Ace Alloy through Discount Tire.

Mesh7 is like the V710. Interesting though. The cool thing about VMR wheels is their affordability and the affordable custom powdercoat options.

I sent them an email direct; so let see if they respond. They are a popular wheel brand for BMW/Audi and even GTO/G8 crowd. I cant beleive they haven't tapped the Mustang market yet, I think the mustang community is a bigger on at that; which make customization and low cost in high demand. Hell, if I had the coin and pull I would love to vend this brand.

I'd almost believe the offsets might not work completely. I've found that if a wheel says it's designed for the 370z/G37 then it will usually work on the S95's. They get such a deeper offset out back. You could probably use whatever they have for the front all the way around but I've found that to mean you're stuck with 8" wheels.

I can't remember what the name of the company is, but "FR500GT" used them to redrill his VMR V710's since they were 19x10.

Looks a lot like the Avante Garde M310's or these from wheel replicas.

V701 style, not the v710. The v710 is too much like the AMR, RTR, and every design just like it.

I'm still waiting on the email back. What is the cost and cons to re-drilling wheels and what is all done to do it?

FYI, the RTR wheels are actually the VMR V710's rebranded and drilled to that S197 offset.

As for the cons, I don't see many as long as you have a reputable, and experienced wheel vendor do it. Lately I've seen many SRT8 Jeeps redrill Vossen CV3's since they do not make a specific pattern for the WKII jeep.

Lol, that would explain why they look like RTRs.

They list 5 x 114.3 patterns for some wheels, so what needs to be redrilled? I'm learning here
