This January I traded my stock wheels for a set of chrome 18" wheels with Nitto's. I did the deal because I wanted the Nitto's and he didnt want any money for the trade, so I did. HE also agreed to mail me my TPMS sensors back in the spring. HE wanted my stock wheels and tires for winter wheels because he moved back up to PA.

Anyhow, he hasn't done that and wont return my emails. What can I do to get rid of the TPMS error on my dash? I'm tired of hitting reset every time I start the car up. Should I just get new sensors?

get new or used sensors, install them and go to a dealer to program them. Takes 5 mins.

you can program them yourself i believe it is in the owners manual. what i would do is get a pvc pipe and trow all 4 sensors in it. seal it up and drill a hole for a valve from an old tire and pressurize the pvc pipe to the correct pressure and throw it in the trunk or under the pass seat

you can do the procedure of the ignition thing, but you need the little device that programs them.

and this wont interfere with the tune

Exactly, and the tool costs about 25$ (or less), steeda carries one, 8C2Z-1A203-A is the part number.

Depending on what does the dealer charges for this maybe it is a better idea to buy it and have it at hand.

I carry one with my flashing tools and use it with customers cars (because of tyre changes) and a couple of cases that a sensor had to be re-learned.
