Just getting into trying some of these different detailing supplies, always just used Megs from the auto stores. So far I'm impressed.

From Car-Pro

Eraser
Fixer
Reflect
PERL
Reload
Victoria Concourse Red
Various Buff and Shine pads

From Autogeek

Griots Garage DA polisher kit

Really impressed with the customer service from Car-Pro.

Corey from CarPro is great! All of the CarPro products I've tried so far are excellent. I picked up some Fixer and I'm curious to see the what the results are going to be. Reflect has by far been the best and easiest polish I've used so far. I'll be apply CQ UK hopefully this May...

I may try CQ this fall on my truck or the wife's car. Corey impressed me on the second order I placed at 7:11 PM and got an email from him within 30 minutes saying they were out of one of the FREE samples I ordered and gave me some options. Sold me right there. Reflect is awesome.

I love illusion as if right now but I need to re final polish the car. I was under some bad lighting so it didn't finish to where im truly happy with. Illusion looks very wet and applys very easily. It also comes off fairly easy just uses alot of towels. The beading is great but doesn't sheet anywhere like Sonax Polymer Net shield. I'll be finishing it friday and ill give a true update and a few pics then.

I have used protowax yet I've been working crazy hours the past 2 weeks. I'll try to get it on my wife's hood this weekend.

I'm taking a couple of days off this week, gonna wash and clay tomorrow and hopefully, if I have time, strip BlackIce so I can apply that Synergy wax cuz I need to do a review of it. Got some crazy pollen here in Cali. Driving me nuts lol

Between those two waxes, I'm set for this lifetime and the next...

Just picked up a Flex in the classifieds. Really anxious to see how much better it performs than my PC. Going to do my Spring detail Monday morning.

I already have a bunch of 5.5 Hex Logic pads for my PC. But I want to upgrade to either a Flex XC3401 or a Rupes 15 ES. Anyone have experience with the Rupes? Can you use the 5.5" pads on either the Flex or the Rupes 15 ES?

The Rupes is a great polisher, I would recommend it. Another great DA for the money is the Griots. The Griots is smooth and does good work for half the price of the Rupes

I haven't used the rupes but I want to. They both have advantages. A rupes has a bigger throw, more comfortable appearance, and great throw for areas. The rupes works well cutting MF pads.

A flex is forced rotation so it acts similar to a rotary except for the fact that it still oscillates like a DA. This will allow you to not lose power and loose its rotation under pressure and corners. The flex works vetter with a foam wool or wool for deep cutting beyond a regular foam pad.

They are both great machines it's a preference on style.

If he already has a PC I wouldn't buy a griots because it is still limited power and the amount of oscillating coverage it has. Don't get me wrong I have a GG before I bought my Flex it is a great machine.

Well the thing I hate about my PC is that you have to be real careful on how you position it on certain panels because it will stop rotating at a certain angle so I can't get a good result in a reasonable amount of time.

Ya I gotcha. A flex WON'T stop at all. A rupes when you do the washer mod you'll be good to.
