Trans finally took it's last breath this morning so now looking to finish swapping over to standard. Looking for a 2005-2006 manual gt PCM among other little things. Lmk price shipped to 77493.

I've been told by my local ford guy that you can actually get a reflash on your own pcm at a ford dealer on this . you would need the vin# from a munual car but they can reflash the pcm to that vin. Not sure if this is 100% true but may be worth checking into

Thats what ive heard but I also heard youll get "fail safe" mode randoms times.

I wouldn't do a reflash. Causes way to many problems with starting, cruise control, brake lights etc. I've done it trust me! Swap the PCM and harness with one from the SAME model year! An 07 up will not work with a 05-06 but because of minor tweaks made throughout the model years I would suggest sticking with the exact model year.
