I wish I could tell you...my best guess would be it really depends on the weight of your car and how it already sits. My car is very nose heavy due to having an iron block and the e-force supercharger so I didn't want any springs that would lower it. I don't know what year the newer style springs came out but was there a year the cobra jet changed to an aluminum block like the cobra did? Maybe it coincided with that with the weight reduction???
