I respect your opinion Don and your databases. But it's kinda like me saying my drag radial car will run a 7.90 because it made 1238 rwhp and it weighs 2700 pounds when it's never been down the track. Take it to Fontana and run it.

That's not fair to say either. It will run different at Fontana as opposed to somewhere like Famoso. Mark I say we all go to Famoso and show what thet thing can do. I will bring the video camera. :partyguy:

Nah - that's not fair Kev, because we're not guessing what the car should do based on a build - we're using the math to calculate from established 1/8 mile times which is night and day difference from 'guessing' and the math doesn't lie. yes, it does fluctuate based on variables by certainly not by much (no more than a few .10's at worst)

I'll admit, based on the current numbers, it is VERY CLOSE and possibly not = to a 9.9x because of the variables, it very well could be a 10.1x (at worst) based on the numbers and variables but that's based on the 6.43 passes.

If I make a 6.3x pass (or better) in the car tomorrow, then there is no argument to support it not being a 9 sec car.

Ken hit the nail on the head about Fontana. The track is one of the slowest in the country because of it's conditions, DA, constant winds, angle, etc. At the FFW event, even with track conditions at one of there all time bests, everyone from a far was slower than they expected and what they say they normally run.

When I get a 1/4 mile pass under my belt, it's got to be at Famoso or Firebird to be fair and it will be. :piano:

Well I think he just brings it on himself because he is always talking about his car.....

I'm in the middle...sometimes I'm really impressed, sometimes I'm not. I don't impress anyone so it's no big in my head. I don't matter to anyone so my day to day is really nice. I drive my car, enjoy it while doing so and then drive it again the next time I am in it. You see...it's all about ME not what you think of me.

I suppose I could talk more about the fact my ballsack is hanging lower and lower as I get older.

Technically, I guess we could make a thread for ball reconstruction surgery resources, but...

It's just more fun talking about my car...:piano:

That is so weird about your ballsack! Your thread would probably have to go in the pit"stop" haha

I am very glad that you have fun talking about your car because I sure have had fun reading about it over the last few years!

Yes there is...the fact that the car hasnt ran a 9 yet.

Until you make a 9 second pass, dont run around saying its a 9 second car because its not. No matter what your calculator says.

Mark just wait and make the long ass trip to the 1/4 mile and then call it a 9 second car. But until then just hold off, no biggie.

Wow. All this horseshit over whether or not the car has run 9's.

Could have sworn this was a For Sale thread.

How about changing the thread to "Marks really fast with no time specified Car for sale thread"?
