Just wanted to say thanks to Jarrod at LRS for all his help getting me the boss Intake and others in order to get ready for the TX mile. He has been a big help even after hours and on weekends.

I did have to modify my Boss intake though! See Pic! The Steeda CAI fit but I found that it is not at the same smooth angles as when mounted to the stock intake due to the different position of the TB. Is that what everyone else is seeing?

DUDE! You're in here. I'm the guy you told "hey man, you're missing the best part..." lol I got ya in here.

Thanks a lot Jarrod! I got home late tonight, but still managed to install the Boss Manifold. I actually had a great time with this install. Pretty simple, I'd call it a 2 beer job.

Your instructions leave nothing additional to be noted about the install. Thanks for the great price and the fast shipping!

Jarrod, I've been seeing there Is an "install kit" or something to make the install go smoother. Is this really needed?

BTW heard your getting a 5.0 :thumb:

I got the install kit from LRS since it saved me a trip to the auto parts store. It's for rerouting the purge valve.

Do not confuse this $10 kit with the $200+ kit from Ford for the OEM reroute.

Order the manifold and the kit from LRS and you'll be set once the shipment arrives.

What he said. The $200+ kit comes with a bracket and something else if im not mistaken. Take you a few hours to do the install, and 5 mins to load a new tune.

I ordered a 2012 last week. They told me 6-8 weeks. Ready for it to come in.

I bought White. Plans are kind of basic. CAI, Exhaust, Silver RTR's, Springs, Manifold, Tune and a set of 4.10's. I might do the CS front valance, but im not sure.

SVE RTR's are still on the DL. Cant say to much about all that.

Thanks man!

Got my intake installed and realized that the stock tube wasn't going to fit. Ugh. Had to make a special trip to Gearheads to pick up my JLT early. Drropped the car off yesterday for the tune. Thanks for the tips on the phone, Jarrod, the car ran fine on the drive to Travis' shop!

DON SVO, just called and said he made 419.7 corrected. If im not mistaken all he has is a JLT CAI and the intake manifold.

JLT, Magnaflow Competition exhaust (factory H pipe), BOSS 302 intake and a good 93 octane tune.

419.97/378.5 corrected thru a 305/35/18 drag radial.
