    Unusual rear brake wear

Correct. No need to do it in two steps.

    end MT-82 miss shifts

NVH is IMO not a reason to skip this bracket. The only additional vibration is wholly contained to the shifter itself and can only be felt when you are holding the shifter. There is nothing about this that can add NVH to the rest of the car UNLESS you install it incorrectly and allow the studs...

    end MT-82 miss shifts

I think you're reading too much into a simple discussion. The bracket isn't magic, but it makes a big difference and is not hard to install. It's not cheap, but so far is say it's the best $ I've spent on my car to date.

Ok, I have the original bushing. My shifter is a pretty early unit, probably the first production batch.

    end MT-82 miss shifts

That's a good question, I have the only bushing that was available when I bought the shifter. Are they now offering more than one?

What have you done to your mustang today?

Installed my Blowfish Racing shifter bracket.

    end MT-82 miss shifts

I just installed my Blowfish bracket. The install was a piece of cake maybe an hour including putting the car up/down on jack stands. I've just done one short test drive but I must say, it's a HUGE improvement. I'd estimate 90% of the notchy feel is gone and IMO even more importantly so is the...

Very nice! I love the clean install in the trunk.

Hmm. Ordered mine from CJ on Sunday...still listed as "backordered".

Dealership called to buy my car

I too get letters from my local dealer. They NEED my car...TOP DOLLAR...RIGHT NOW!!! The funny part is these letters aren't asking for my Mustang. I get these for my 15 year old, 100k mile, rusted out beater Focus wagon. LOL!

Whiteline KDT928 MT82 Transmission Bushing Insert Tested. Reviews/Tips & Tricks

I noticed no increase in NVH with mine. It's without question the best thing I've done to the car after the MGW shifter.

Anyone else seen a '15 on the road yet?

I was driving on US 24 between Toledo, OH and Ft. Wayne, IN yesterday when a bright yellow '15 passed me headed the opposite direction. Looked good, love the yellow.

    11' traction control sensativity issue

Just to clarify, there are 4 settings: 1. On 2. Press button once: stability control still on, traction control off 3. Foot on brake, double click button: Sport mode 4. Foot on brake, hold button for 7 seconds: everything off From your description it sounds to me like you are not in Sport...

What have you done to your mustang today?

Thanks. :) Nothing touches the paint in any way. I cringe whenever I see those strap on trunk racks flailing around the back of a car. I can't imagine subjecting either my car or bike to that sort of abuse.

What have you done to your mustang today?

Committed a cardinal sin...installed a hitch. Yes, I also have a beater that can do this sort of thing but I'm tired of leaving the Stang at home when I want to ride. I also want to start taking my bike with me on vacations and the GT is my vacation car. No towing, I didn't even wire lights...

What have you done to your house today

Very cool! It's amazing to think how many people today have never even seen a phone booth and certainly never used one.

I'm a fan of Big Agnes camping gear. Love their sleeping bag/pad system.

    Bike purchase

Go to the bike shop, try on everything they have, and buy what fits you the best. Any quality helmet will offer an equivalent level of protection. Helmet fit and comfort are the most important things.

    New eyes...Yay or Nay?

That only reenforces my opinion. IMO, that thing belongs in the "spot the rice" thread.

    New eyes...Yay or Nay?

Agreed. I'm not even a fan of the factory projector lights on the 11-14's. I've yet to see an aftermarket projector headlight for these cars that didn't look like hot garbage. They all go in the "rice" category for me.

    New eyes...Yay or Nay?

I'm not sure there are words to adequately express how horrid those lights are. Take them off, burn them, burry them in a remote location, then kill anyone who may have seen where you put them so they can't be dug up and put on another car.

About to pick up another project

Cool project. I've gotta say, I dig a lot of it just the way it is. Here's what I'd do: Slam it Make it reliable mechanically (fast or slow as you like) Nice interior Build an old school wooden stake bed. Ideally out of repurposed wood for that worn look. No body mods, repaint etc. Leave...

What have you done to your mustang today?

Put her up on the ramps yesterday for an oil/filter change and to install a Whiteline transmission bushing. Wow, I wish I'd spent the $30 for the bushing sooner. Very real improvement in shift quality. No major NVH increase that I can tell. Maybe a bit more buzz in the shifter when accelerating...

What have you done to your mustang today?

Made the mesh grills for my Boss-style fog delete. No more 'dipped lights.
