I bought my Kooks headers and offroad X-pipe at the ford nationals car show in carlisle......RIGHT OUT OF THE PYPES TRUCK. I got them last year, the pypes guys said they used them to make their copies.

i got my KR's new from buyfordracing, they were the cheapest. The kooks have been on my car for about a year, and they are mildly discolored, but still look better than those big rusty manifolds

are you talking about the carrier cross pin? If so i've had a couple of those 8mm bolts break off, the threaded part comes out but the long smooth shank stays in the carrier. Does your 8 mm bolt have the smooth shank at the end, probably about 2 inches long total?

No i agree they are kooks, i was just saying that the primaries look alot larger than mine in the pics. I have not dynoed my car with the headers on, but the sound was worth it for sure!!! I am shocked these have not sold, that is a good price.

kooks has tags on both headers, at least mine do. They face up when mounted, so that onlookers can you see have KOOKS brand those primaries look alot larger than mine, you sure they aren't 1 3/4? on my pass header the tag is on the front runner facing up

Just got this from another forum member, also have 6 U-bolt style exhaust clamps that i got since the pypes ones suck. Anyway in great shape, $150 picked up located in south central PA. Willing to meet within reason also. Sounds great on car but too quiet for me, so i went back to my KR mufflers.

from about 1700-2300 it sounded like a dump truck and civic mixed, hard to describe. It was so bad i was hoping no one was around to hear it. I've heard some of the flowmaster exhausts that trumpet, this was like a whole frekin trumpet band. Just not a good sound.
