Here it is with tint and leveling kit.

So how do you like the ecoboost? My 07 is getting long in the tooth (for me) and I was thinking about that engine next time around. For as little as I use it as a truck, it would make sense to get the best mileage I can. What's your take on getting used to the feel of the motor... not being an 8 and all? Some guys just can't handle not having the burble/rumble.

I do not notice it. The truck accelerates just as good as the V8. I have went against my buddies 6.2L Raptor and I had him by 1/2 a truck everytime till it cut out at 95mph. I did not get to try a 5.0 yet but expect it to be a little further apart.

I will be ordering a Livernois tune, intake, and exhaust here shortly. I am not sure which exhaust as I want to keep it quiet but flow better. I pulled about 13,000 lbs with it the other day and it was fine. Had the cruise control set at 80mph on the interstate and it pulled the trailer and tractor no problem. I have the 4.10's in it so I am not sure how the other trucks pull with the 3.55's or other gears.

Great information... thanks! Now.... how do you feel about not having the V8 rumble? :)

I am seriously thinking eco will be my next truck. Considering how little I tow things, I need to maximize my gas mileage as much as possible. I have never had a V6, so I am hesitant about just the overall feel... but who cares. I need mileage.

Thanks for the input.

I added my own overhead 10" LCD/DVD player. It was pretty simple to do and is WAY cheaper than the factory option.

Here's a pic of my 2012 F150 stx 5.0L...I bought it off beefcake in march. So far I've added all the available ROUSH bolt-ons except blower. Since the pic below I've added the rear Harley Davidson/Raptor black housing tail-lights.

Here are links to some projects I've done to it---

I loved the Raptor and how it drove/handled but in the end decided it was overkill for my DD. So I bought a 2012 XLT Ecoboost and saved quite a bit which means next year I'll be putting a blower on my 06. :) Just dropped the truck off tonight to get 5% tint, clear bra on front and LED light bar across back.
