Looking good Don!!! I can't wait to see some of those walls with drywall on them....
Me too! The drywall is a significant milestone.

Looking great Don. For somewhere that has an awesome mean temperature, they sure do insulate the heck out of things dont they? haha. That looks like the houses we built in Michigan.

Awesome. Drywall next week will really be cool to watch go up. The place goes from being a stick figure to being a house. Was always my favorite phase of building. Things really started to look like a home at that point.
The "standard" insulation is only the exterior walls/ceilings. We paid extra to have all the interior walls/ceilings done also. That is mainly for acoustic reasons. It deadens a lot of sound transfer between rooms.

Drywall installation continued on Tuesday, May 19. They are making pretty good progress, and it shouldn’t take much longer to finish hanging the sheets.

It's hard to capture the garage with a camera... but the drywall definitely makes it easier to see. That center raised area is about 12'-6" high.

The drywall hanging was completed today. It really makes a big difference in the way everything looks. The rooms feel bigger than before, too.

The drywall and lath nailing inspection was completed today, May 21. The house was cleaned up to get rid of all the drywall scraps, and the sand and cement for the stucco was delivered.

Stucco ingredients delivered.
