This is the 1999 GT I ended up with after getting rid of my turbo '05. Did a couple things to it since I bought it (wheels, rear springs) but not much.

Short mod list...Forged shortblock, KB 1.7L at 13psi, Patriot 2v heads, Hitech Motorsport cams, longtubes, fuel system, TKO600, tubular K, Tubular A arms, coilovers in front, BBK springs in the rear. E85, 460rwhp/495rwtq.

Might get a 70mm On3 kit soon.

Some changes. :) Sold my 1.7L Kenne Bell and bought a used On3 kit from a friend of mine. Got it all together with the help of a good buddy this past weekend. Masterpower T70 turbo (I made 638/703 SAE Dynojet with my old '05 GT with this same turbo with stock heads/cams/intake). It will get tuned this weekend. The car it came off of had the same Patriot heads, similar cams, and had a stock intake manifold whereas I have an Edelbrock Victor Jr. He made 570/600 at 15psi on pump gas with 12 degrees of timing, and I'm on E85. We will see how it goes.

There we go!

Yes sir. We will see how this T70 .68 a/r turbo works, I will probably upgrade to something better, maybe similar to what you have, over the winter. I'm guessing I can get to the limit of my fuel system on E85 with this turbo anyway (A1000 pump, sumped tank, -8 feed and -6 return lines, Edelbrock rails, and 80lb injectors). This is a super budget build...I got the kit used for $1500 and I sold the KB that came on the car for $2600. I will probably be close to breaking even after tuning and other misc stuff.

How much is your shortblock built for?

Don't know exactly. Manley crank, Manley rods, Probe SRS -18cc pistons for around a 9.0:1 CR. I think that if the tune stays safe it should be fine at 700rwhp or so. I'm not going to spin it over 6500rpm anyway.

Just a little update (not that anyone really cares, lol)....

We had some issues with exhaust leaks, then a mysterious boost leak issue that turned out to be me forgetting to tighten a clamp on the coupler on the discharge of the turbo (durrrrrr), and now it needs valvesprings because it lays over hard at only around 5300rpm. I actually have a different turbo on it now with a larger exhaust housing as an experiment (a Turbonetics 62-1 .96 a/r), but the problem remains. I will get some of the new Comp Hi-Load springs and see how it works then.

It did make 522 ft-lbs at around 4000rpm and something like 480rwhp at 5200 just before it shits the bed. This was with around 15psi.

It will go when it all gets sorted out. :)

Looks great man, and I bet it is a blast to drive with the turbo! I just picked up a 2000 GT myself but it is mostly stock.
