Hey all!

It's always been a slow progress with the car for me it seems. Like most of us the intentions start good but life happens. I bought the car new in 2007...daily drove it for a year (putting 37k miles in that short time) then it's been a nice weather car since minus a couple occasions. It has a couple small bolt on's currently and minus wheels it's a full weight car that has been 12.5 on a near stock suspension minus BMR springs.

I have had a Kellogg crank, flattop Diamond Pistons, Manley rods, and a Saleen supercharger waiting to go in for about 3 years now. I didn't think the Saleen would satisfy my power goals so sold it and ended up going with a THP single turbo kit last year along with an oil less comp turbo. I'm at the point to where work is slowing down soon (hopefully) so I'll have alittle free time to get some things done.

I also started a wire tuck about two years ago after buying another house but once again work took priority and the car sat for 10 month. I got it together so I could make Bradenton in 2013 then we found another house shortly after and bought that so without boring you too much the house things are also winding down. My wife says we're done for alittle bit. Lol

I guess as progress happens I'll update this thread and I'm sure there will be some questions along the way that hopefully some of you would be willing to help me with.

In the mean time I'll throw up a few pictures of the car before/after and as it sits this evening.

The day I brought it home, it did have 17" bullet's and pin striping but that went quickly as you can see.

I figured it was time for new bumpers and wanted to break up the white so sprayed some hotrod black on the hood, and went with race stars, as well as '10+ mirrors.

With that quick run down in the cars history here are a couple from tonight which I hope to update soon as progress happens.

Please ignore the filthy and embarrassing engine bay lol but here it is down to stock air box and paper filter.

Everything all laid out and ready to start going on. Need a couple odds and ends such as coolant hoses and fittings for the turbo, wideband, fuel pump.

Car looks great, especially with the Racestars, I wish I had the patience to move the PCM/Fusebox like that.

Thanks guys. The mirrors my wife bought back in 2010 when they became available through ford. Fortunately a good friend got me fixed up at the time.

Rob...though I'm a good ride from you, you're welcome down anytime man. What's going on with your speedo and reverse lights? Did you get a new harness for the new trans setup? I'd been away from the mustang forums for a couple months so I'm sure I've missed a little bit. However, I did catch one update on FB about your swap. Congrats on getting her back together!

Nah not far at all. I used to drive out to that side of town so often. I kept the automatic harness and that's why I'm modifying it for my speedo and reverse lights. Thanks man, yah I finished the swap in my garage a week ago but my tune is worthless so I can't drive my car :(. Once it's done i gotta break in the clutch, so I'll def drive out your way.

Aren't you on ucf side?

I'm little further south now...I've bought another house in the south end of Brevard. My wife still commutes to UCF two to three days a week which is about 74 miles one way.

Hoping to make alittle progress on the car tomorrow evening after work.

Damn! Lol I guess I should have put two and two together when you mentioned houses in this thread. Well shoot me a PM with your # n address when you plan to work on the car and the offer still stands.

Sounds good!

I wasn't planning to do anything this evening as it's my father in laws last day until he goes back to Iraq but he was packing when I got home from work and the wife was cooking so I decided spend a few minutes in the garage.

After going through some things I realized I'm missing a few brackets as well as some hardware so hopefully I can get THP to send that out. In the meantime I have other things to do as far as getting situated and remembering everything I previously had planned.

Thanks

Does anybody have any thoughts on widebands? I'm not sure if anything new has come out in the past 6 months as I haven't read that deep yet, but I was leaning towards an AEM setup and a close second was an Innovate LC1. Critique my choices...yay or nay?

I've been happy with the AEM I'm running, other than the display having red numbers (I bought it used). It's quite accurate when compared to the dyno readings as well.

Thanks Brian, I remember Paul (oneeyedwilly) saying the same about his.

Brackets and hardware should ship out today after shooting Jim an email so hopefully I'll have that stuff next week or beginning of the following week.

Made some more progress but nothing worth taking pictures of... Looks like I'm missing a few more pieces so hopefully we can get that squared away and move forward.

Your level of detail is overwhelming. Can you give us the short version? :roflmao:
