Will be replacing my motor this winter with the following:
Ford Racing M-6009-A46X 5.0L Modular Stroker Shortblock
Ford Racing M-6049-N3VPA 4.6L/5.4L CNC Ported 3V RH/LH Cylinder Heads
Brenspeed Detroit Rocker Supercharged Mustang GT 2005-2010

I will be running a ProCharger D1SC on this set up. The supporting mods I already have are: FRPP Intake/L&M Throttle Body/Kooks LT Headers/60 lb injectors.
Any additional suggestions?
For those who have built their motors using the Ford Racing SB with a centrifugal supercharger, what hp/tq numbers did it produce with pump gas (93*)?

Thanks

Should be around 18lbs of boost, I have the 8 rib belt now. Also have the dual pump set up the P1SC stageII intercooled system came with.

Be careful with pump fuel at 18#

My guess you'll be Lower 600s for power.

Yea but have mixed feelings about setting it up for it. Would rather tune for pump gas.

Mustang will still be street driven on weekends and closest station is 40 miles away. Pump gas would be much easier for the time being.

There is nothing to set up. Maybe a bap on your pumps and larger injectors. You can still swap to gas with just a tune change.

In terms of additional suggestions I recommend you also include TSS Billet Oil Pump Gears in the build.

Thanks. I saw on the list for the Ford Racing SB that it has a New high pressure oil pump. Guessing that would not be sufficient?

How high are you going to rev it? Billet is better but those FRPP pumps have had a pretty good track record over the years.

has more to do with how the car is driven then peak revs. the powdered metal has been know to crack on shock, the billet, will not.

Well aware of the possible issues with the stock style gears but that doesn't change the fact that a whole lot of guys have been making a lot of power for a long time on those pumps and I just don't recall hearing about a lot of pump failures over the years.

Seems like I've seen more pump issues since the Coyote came out than any time in the past.

Don't get me wrong though, I do agree that the billet gears are good insurance.
