radio help

hey bought my mustang and the lights on the radio never worked. figured that was just how it was. the only thing that lights up is the display like where the radio stations are. also my aux dosent work. i have searched and other people have had this problem, but never listed a solution. any of you guys had similair problems? its a shaker 500 in an 07 gt. any ideas?

Replace the shaker 500 head unit, you can find them for good deals in the classifieds.
